NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 22, 2026) – Stones River Group (SRG) President Mark Cate announced the addition of a new team member, Zac Ellis, as Senior Director, Strategic Communications, and promotion of Jill Dickerson to Director, Public Relations.
Ellis joins SRG having held previous communications and public relations roles at Bridgestone Americas and Vanderbilt University. In his role as Senior Director, Strategic Communications, Zac will oversee business development for SRG’s communications practice and lead comprehensive public relations initiatives for SRG clients. Zac is a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
“Zac will be a valuable addition to the already outstanding work our public relations team provides our clients,” Mark said. “We are excited to grow our strategic communications practice with his experience and skillset from several years in the Nashville market.”
Dickerson joined SRG in 2023 and has led strategic public relations and advocacy campaigns for SRG clients including Union Station Nashville Yards, Communities In Schools of Tennessee, and Partnership Tennessee. Prior to SRG, Dickerson spent several years in Washington, DC, where she served as the deputy communications director for the U.S. House Committee on the Budget and previously worked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
